Robert (Bob) Brown is a seasoned property and logistics professional with over 35 years of progressive experience managing government and defense contract property, logistics operations, and organizational leadership.

As Director of the Government Contract Property Center at the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) for over 5 years, he oversaw a nationwide team of professionals responsible for managing over $125B Government contract property to include, property management system reviews, contract property administration, and the disposition of excess government property. He directed enterprise-wide policy development, implementation and compliance with DoD acquisition and property regulations.

Previously served as Director of the Plant Clearance Group at DCMA, Mr. Brown led multiple regional teams ensuring the efficient and compliant disposal of government property. His deep technical expertise spans property accountability, contract property requirements, performance-based management, and demilitarization compliance.

Earlier in his career, he served as a Government Property Administrator (GPA) and Plant Clearance Officer (PLCO), managing millions of line items of government-furnished and contractor-acquired property. He implemented corrective actions, conducted system analyses, and provided technical direction on all aspects of government property control, screening, reutilization, and disposal.

Prior to his DCMA tenure, he worked for a major defense contractor in property and plant clearance administration and served over 20 years in the U.S. Coast Guard, where he held senior logistics and property management roles overseeing multi-million-dollar inventories, hazardous material programs, and procurement operations.

He holds DAWIA Level III certification in Industrial/Contract Property Management, membership in the Defense Acquisition Corps, and extensive supervisory and leadership training through DoD and Harvard Business School programs.
