A leading authority on Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) compliance, he has built a distinguished career in executive leadership, global operations, regulatory instruction, and advisory support for major defense programs.

As founder and principal of Len Salazar Advisory Group, LLC, he provides strategic consulting to government agencies and defense contractors, helping organizations strengthen compliance, optimize property management systems, and improve mission readiness.

Leadership & Global Experience
Salazar previously served as Director of Property for DCMA Central U.S. Region & International Operations, overseeing more than $84 billion in government property across 600+ contractors worldwide. He led a team of 60+ Property Administrators supporting high‑visibility programs including the Presidential Aircraft, F‑35 and F‑22 platforms, Patriot Missile systems, and Stryker vehicles.

Operational & International Deployments
He completed five overseas deployments—Kosovo, Bosnia‑Herzegovina, Hungary, Kuwait, and Iraq—supporting U.S. Army missions as a Property Administrator and Plant Clearance Officer. He executed the first U.S. contract disposal sale of surplus government property in Bosnia‑Herzegovina, establishing a model for future operations.

Regulatory Expertise & Training
A respected authority in FAR/DFARS compliance, Salazar has overseen more than 5,000 Property Management System Analyses (PMSAs) and 10,000+ loss case investigations. As a certified Defense Acquisition University (DAU) instructor in Government Contract Property, he has trained personnel across all DoD components and many defense contractors.
